From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll find friendly faces ready to show you the way! Your first stop when you arrive with your kids will be the Worship Center. Look for someone near the “Kid’s Check In” kiosk. We'll make sure we know what your child likes to be called, ask about allergies, and collect your contact information. From there we will help you find where the preschool-aged kids meet for Kids Church, as well as the K-5th graders drop-off and pickup locations. Nursery care, Pre-School classes, and K-5th classes are available during 8:30 and 10:00 AM services.

Our nursery provides a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for our little ones. The nursery is conveniently located in the Worship Center, so you are never far from your child. Our "one-way window" makes it easy for you to check in on your baby at any time during the service.

Our "Mother's Quiet Room" is a secluded, secure room with rocking chairs and changing tables for your convenience, located directly across from our nursery.

At Ankeny Free, we want you to know that your children are highly valued by God and by us. Every Sunday, toddlers through pre-school aged children experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We have fun! We do crafts, listen to Bible stories, and sing songs that help us learn more about God's amazing love through the gift of His Son, Jesus.

We use the AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) program on Wednesday nights from 6-7:30 each week from September-April.
